The Courage-Workshop

One day — all four steps

For Individuals

Not a lecture. Not a simulation. Participants live each of the Four Steps through embodied, experiential exercises drawn from arts, performance and somatic practice — and leave with a personal Courage Map grounded in their own real challenges.

What this is

The fastest way to move a group from knowing about courage to practising it.

Four commitments. One map. A shared language.

Most leadership development puts theory first. The Courage Catalyst reverses that. Participants begin by connecting the framework to their own real courage challenges — brought to the room via a Courage Walk at the start of the day.

Then they walk a circuit through all Four Steps, each with its own embodied exercise designed to make the inner and outer work of courage visceral, not abstract.

Each step crystallises into a personal commitment.

The day closes with a shared Courage Map — a live artefact that every participant leaves with, and that the team can use as a shared reference going forward.

ONE DAY — ALL 4 STEPS

The Courage-Workshop

Every session has the same anatomy: an embodiment exercise to make the step visceral, an inner/outer activity to connect it to real challenges, and a crystallise moment to lock in one commitment before moving on.

Every participant closes the day by revisiting their original courage challenge — the one they brought on the Courage Walk — and mapping it against all Four Steps. What does Step Up ask of me here? Where does Step In matter? What is my Step Forward move? Who do I need to Step Together with

The Map is not a reflection exercise — it is a commitment document. A live artefact they can return to, act from, and use as the basis for deeper exploration in coaching or team work that follows.

Who it's for

Teams and groups who need to act — not just discuss

Leadership teams facing a high-stakes decision. Cohorts beginning a longer programme. Organisations wanting to seed a courage culture. Works as a standalone experience or as the centrepiece of the 90-Day Team Sprint.

Who it's for

What follows

The workshop as a launchpad, not an endpoint

The Courage Catalyst is designed to be the beginning of something — not a one-day event. It pairs naturally with individual coaching, the 30-Day Practice Guide, and the full Team Sprint to sustain and deepen what the day opens up.
